(Letters and Telegrams)

Mildred Savidant remembers making regular trips to the Post Office to check for mail in her parents' box number 305. It was a busy place during the war years. She also recalls one of the telegraph delivery boys, George Clark, making necessary trips about town wearing his peak cap. He and the others who worked for the CNR office would have protective leg gear to wear when riding their bicycles.
