The Wyatt Heritage Properties will continue to build on the early successes of the Wyatt House Museum and the MacNaught History Centre and Archives. Programming opportunities at the Museum are being explored. There is interest in expanding the school program, which currently is limited to the Christmas season. There is also an intention to become a destination for bus travel tours. The MacNaught History Centre has made strides in describing some of the original materials available to researchers. There is a large extent of items still to be documented and more collections are being donated as time goes on. The Lefurgey Cultural Centre is the focal point for “Phase II” of the development plan, which will entail renovation to the largest of the three buildings. The changes that will be made will improve the quality and sophistication of services being provided by the Wyatt Heritage Properties. |
